Following discussions had by the Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) Bus Service Specialist for Solihull & Coventry, Ryan Charlton, with various local groups including our won KDBH Bus Action Group, changes are being made to the A3 and A7/A8 local bus routes starting on Monday 8th April 2024.
The A3 will operate along Widney Manor Road and will no longer go down Alderminster Road. It will serve Purnells Way, Tilehouse Green Lane and Longdon Road in both directions so that residents will no longer need to walk to Station Road to get the bus into Knowle.
The A7/A8 timetable is being amended to better serve Arden Academy, and the evening services are being amended to coordinate better with staff shift times at local Care Homes.
The new timetables plus the new route map for the A3 service are posted here and will start on Monday 8th April 2024.
