Knowle, Dorridge & Bentley Heath Bus Action Group was set up a few years ago and is a joint endeavour by representatives from the DDRA and Knowle Society to monitor what is happening with our local bus services (A3, A3W, A7, A8) and to lobby for improvements. In recent years, the services have been infrequent and unsatisfactory. This means that many people who would like to use buses don’t, which is really unfortunate, as increased use of buses (especially electric vehicles) would provide a way to significantly reduce air pollution and traffic congestion as well as carbon emissions, by reducing car use.
